I grew up with the AG's too... my first doll was Molly. I got her for christmas when I was 8. I am 22 years old now. I have a 3 year old little girl, who I am slowly grooming towards obsession for these dolls. I am married to a most wonderful man.

I suppose in my life in so many ways I grew up waaaaay earlier than most. I suppose the only way I stay sane is by embracing my inner child.

I have been working on my daughter since she was a year... slowly teaching her how to handle the dolls properly with the hopes of getting her very own, sooner than age 8. We have been using my Molly (who has been more loved, but still in good condtion, than the others) She is progressing quite nicely. Very soon now she will be ready... mwahaha

She will be getting her very first AG this year. Santa is in the "process" of making the blond bitty twins along side their prince and princess outfits. She proudly tells everyone that Santa is hard at work on this endevor.

I'm pretty sure I'm an adult, I'll be turning 38 in a couple of days.

I will post my real age and maybe win the award of the oldest who has posted. I was 62 this past June, I will be married 43 years next week. I have a daughter that is the mother of my two grandsons ages 17 and almost 19. I have always had dolls and my DH has his trains. We dance three nights a week and still feel like teenagers sometimes. I taught first grade for years and had to keep up with all the toys for my job. Isn't that a great excuse. Now, I am retired and plan on using my SS checks for more dolls the things for them.

Nevertheless, it is great the way all ages come togther when it comes to AG's. I enjoy talking to everyone. I will be loving my girls through out the rest of my 50's and when I am in my 60's, 70', 80's, 90's...forever! [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img] my s

I am definately an adult collector. I agree with Becca, I grew up with AG. Although, I didn't get my own until I was an adult. I love this board, because now I don't seam so crazy.

I'm 22! I thought I was the only "girl" my age still collecting AG dolls! I'm so happy I'm not alone.

Here's a quote by someone I know - "I'm a little boy trapped in an old man's body." The person who said that was my 87 yo grandfather. He lived about five years more after he said that. Now I know exactly what he meant. I hope I always stay young, even if I don't look like it on the outside.
